BIO

I was born and raised on a farm in Montgomery County, Indiana, and worked the farm with my dad until his death in 2009. I married my high school friend Lucy in December of 1980, and we had Rachel in 1983 and Isaac in 1985.

Experience

Adam is a fourth-generation farmer who has been farming for the past 40 years. He and Lucy took their farm-raised beef and poultry to an Indiana farmer’s market in 1996 for the first time, and founded Moody Meats in 2000. In 2009, they established Moody’s Butcher Shops. Adam is also the co-founder of HUSK Sweet Corn (2012) and Honey Creek Legacy Meats (2018).
